Who We Are
"Ironically enough, the state bird and flower of New Jersey happen to reflect the colors of the JCL...purple and yellow. Thus, of course, I could NOT let this perfect opportunity go to waste. The branch represents the home the NJJCL gives us to share our love of the classics, the flowers showing the everchanging evolution of the chapter, the bird is the students who will soon fly to new horizons, and the laurel symbolizes the victories that they will achieve." - Ishareet Sohal, Designer of the 70th anniversary NJ-JCL Logo Corresponding Scriba (19-20), Proconsul (20-21) |
The NJ-JCL is the New Jersey chapter of the National Junior Classical League. Here, Latin students from across the state come together to share their love of the language and civilization of ancient Rome.
